“The 15th Cross-Strait Symposium on Development and Strategies of Information Management” held in Tongji

Hosted by Tongji University and co-hosted by FuJen Catholic University, CSIM, CNAIS and Fudan University, “The 15th Cross-Strait Symposium on Development and Strategies of Information Management” attracted 200 delegates including 80 from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
The founders of the symposium, leaders from the Central Government, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Tongji University attended the opening ceremony and gave welcome speeches. Presentations were delivered by experts and professors from Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Discussions were hold among 7 groups on topic of the management and application of information system, logistics, business intelligence, knowledge management, E-commerce, E-government, data mining, the teaching method and cultivation of information management talents and the combination of industry, teaching and research.
The forum was set up by Prof. SongKai and Prof. WuQidi in 1994 and has been held successfully for 14 rounds in different universities in mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
