Led by Vice President Dong Qi, Prof. Li Zhenyu, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office and Mr. Pan Huibin, Director of Office for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs, the Tongji Foreign Expert Delegation, including 26 persons, attended the Reception of 60th Anniversary of National Day on Sep. 27.

Decorated with flowers, lanterns and streamers, the Great Hall of the People was filled with the cheerful holiday atmosphere. Some 1,800 foreign experts and Chinese officials attended the reception. Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang attended the reception and delivered a speech. On behalf of the Chinese Government, President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao, Li thanked all foreign experts for their contribution to the country's social and economic development. He also extended his greetings to all foreign experts, international friends and their relatives working in China.
