Civil aviation authorities are investigating how a child was able to pass through three checkpoints and board a plane at Beijing Capital International Airport without a ticket.
北京首都国际机场一个小孩没有票是怎样通过三道安检登机的呢？民航当局正在调查中。

The incident happened on Sunday and was only discovered after flight attendants on Flight HO1252 from Beijing to Shanghai realized they had one extra passenger before takeoff.
这件事情发生了周日，只有从北京飞往上海的航班HO1252上的空姐在起飞前发现他们的飞机上多了一名乘客。

The 4-year-old child had no boarding pass, although he was traveling with two adults and two older children, all of whom did have boarding passes, Beijing News reported on Tuesday.

A witness told the newspaper he heard one of the adults tell the flight crew they thought children shorter than 1.2 meters did not require tickets.

For safety reasons, all passengers were removed from the plane and a thorough security check of the aircraft was conducted, according to the report.

The flight was delayed and eventually took off at noon, more than five hours after its scheduled 6:55 am departure time.
这趟航班备最终在中午才起飞，比预定起飞时间上午6:55分延迟了五个多小时。

After hearing about the incident, people have expressed concern about boarding procedures at the airport and civil aviation safety.
听说了次事故之后，人们表示对机场登机程序和航空安全的担忧。

"That is a serious safety issue. Anything could have happened if the passenger was a terrorist," one netizen wrote.
“这是一个严重的安全问题。如果这是一名恐怖分子，任何事情都有可能发生。”一网民写道。
