中国队短道世锦赛女子3000米接力夺金

China grabbed the gold in the women's short track speed skating 3,000 metres relay at the ISU World Championships, easing some of the pain from the Sochi Olympics where they were disqualified. Meanwhile, South Korea were punished for illegal action.

You can never really predict what will happen in these races, but the drama is often between China and South Korea. Nearly one month ago, South Korea grabbed gold in the women's short track speed skating 3,000 metres relay at the Sochi Games.

The Olympic Champions got off to a great start, taking the lead from the off. China though, kept close behind them, and Fan Kexin finally made her move, as she attempted to pass Shim Suk-hee of South Korea.

But the Chinese was blocked, meaning South Korea finished first. However, they were later disqualified due to that illegal move. China picked up their fourth successive World Championship title.

In the men's 3000 meters, Russia's Viktor Ahn came third, China's Shi Jingnan was second, while the American JR Selski came first, but it was Ahn who won the overall points race.
