外研社版《小学英语》Book II Unit 5Lesson 2

编者按:这是在安徽省安庆市教育教学研究室举办的小学学科“送教上门”活动中,吴雄英老师执教的外研社版《小学》Book IIUnit 5Lesson 2的教案,并由安徽省安庆市教育教学研究室陈俊老师对此课进行了细致的评析、精辟的点评。


Teaching contents:


1.Dialog Practice


How's the weather today?


It's sunny /cloudy /windy /rainy.


2.Actions


Throw the ball.Jump 5times.Run quickly.Walk slowly.


Teaching aims and demands:


1.Ask and answer questions about the weather.


2.Understand and respond to commands about outside actions.


3.Train the Ss'English listening and speaking a- bilities.

Step 1.Warming-up /Revision


1.Greetings


2.Do it.Review the commands from Unit 2and Unit 3:


(1)Look at the picture.(2)Read a book.(3)Listen to the tape.(4)Be quiet.(5)Watch TV.(6)Do your homework.(7)Wash your face.(8)Go to bed.


3.Play a game.T says the commands:Show me sunny /Show me windy /...Ss take out the pictures and do the actions.


4.Chant it:Sunny,sunny,It's sunny;Cloudy,cloudy,It's cloudy;Windy,windy,It's windy;Rainy,rainy,It's rainy.


Step 2.Introduction and Practice: Dialogs


1.Review Dialog 3from Page 41.


T:How's the weather today?


Ss:It's...


2.Practise the dialogs.


(1)T shows the computer pictures.Divide the Ss into two groups. Have one group ask:How's the weather today?The other group answers: It's...Then change roles and try again.


(2)Make up similar dialogs,using some weather signs and taking turns to be each role.


(3)Play a game.T shows the pictures and ask:How's the weather today in Beijing?Ss listen and guess:It's...


Step 3.Introduction:Actions


1.T shows one ball and does the action“Throw the ball”and models the action twice.


2.Ss repeat the command and do the action after T.


3.T introduces“Jump 5times”in the same way.


4.T asks two Ss to have a match and


introduces“Run quickly”and“Walk


slowly”.


Step 4.Practice


1.T gives these four commands.Ss do the actions together.


2.T and Ss look at the scene and do the actions together.


3.Volunteers come to the front and do the actions.


Step 5.Wraming-up


1.Chant it:


Throw,throw,Throw the ball. Jump,jump,Jump 5times.Run,run, Run quickly.Walk,walk,Walk slowly. Ss clap and read the commands.Chant it again.Ss do the actions.


2.Play a game.T shows the numbers 1,2,3,4with the fingers and Ss do the actions.It's like this:1,2,3,4;1,2,3,4;3(Showing 3fingers to stand for“Run quickly”).The others will say:Run quickly.


3.T gives several commands.Run quickly.Walk slowly...Ss do the actions.


4.Ss say the commands themselves.


5.Video:The Hare and the Tortoise.


6.Check.T does the actions and Ss say the commands.


7.Chant it.①T and Ss look at the scene and clap.②T and Ss look at the scene and do the actions.


8.Homework.


(1)Make new dialogs with different partners.


(2)Listen to the tape recorder.
